Welcome to Trouthunters!
Trouthunters CC is a family fishing & picnicking farm in safe and secure surroundings situated near Krugersdorp in the Tarlton area. Very close to the Krugersdorp Game Reserve and the Cradle of Human Kind (10 Minutes away)
We have 3 carp dams and 2 trout dams.
Costs (All visitors pay – Fishing as well as non-fishing)
- Adults R70 per person
- Children under 12 R40 per person
- Children 3 years and younger Free
Opening Times
Day Visitors
• We are open from sunrise to sunset.
• Pay at the office before fishing.
• All payments are non-refundable.
• No large dogs allowed. (Only smaller breed dogs such as Pekingese)
• No excessive alcohol use.
o Please note: Trouthunters CC is a family oriented fishing venue and we will ask you to leave.
• Trout catch and keep R90/kg
• Landing net compulsory
• If you release, cut the gut or shake trout loose. A penalty of R500 will be issued and you will be banned from Trouthunters CC.
• Due to fish theft we have the right to search your belongings before you leave the premises.
• No mishandling of fish.

• Barbles hooks only, hooks will be inspected

• All litter to be placed in the bins provided

• If you are early, wait at the gate, we will open for you so you can start fishing as soon as possible.
• We have a huge carp population, the biggest caught is 16kg.

• The biggest fish can be caught at the lower dams with loads of reeds.
• Trout can be found in the top dam near the office.

• There is no food available at our kiosk. There is a take away shop in the Tarlton area.
• Yes, you can camp. From 4pm to 10pm the next day costs R120/adult and R50/child
• We have a guard system to look after campers
• Please note our property is surrounded by electric fencing.
• We have spray lights during the night.
• We have toilets
